- Account Information: Email address, hashed password, and locale preferences during registration.
- Request Metadata: Timestamps, API endpoints called, HTTP status codes, latency, token consumption counts (input, output, cache), and upstream diagnostic error messages.
- Technical Logs: IP address, user-agent strings, and request IDs used for security auditing and debugging.
- Local Storage: Language preference setting (
faka_locale) stored in your browser.
2. How We Use Information
The collected information is used solely to:
- Route API requests efficiently across upstream account pools;
- Track usage, calculate transparent token pricing, and process balance deductions;
- Provide request-level diagnostics and error logs in your Console;
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or malicious security threats.
3. Data Forwarding & Third-Party Sharing
API payload contents (prompts and completions) are forwarded directly to third-party AI model providers (such as OpenAI or Anthropic) to process your API requests. Faka does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or request payloads to advertisers or unrelated third parties.
4. Data Retention & Security
We implement industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your API Keys and account data. Request error logs and security audit records are automatically purged after defined retention windows (e.g., 30 to 180 days).
5. Your Rights
You have the right to access, update, or export your account details and API usage history via the Console, or request account deletion by contacting support.
6. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Notice of significant changes will be published on our website or communicated through your Console.
